Enterprise architecture work/modeling is not an isolated work – it is deeply integrated and the drive of its parts/sub architectures. Hence, EA models need to be able to combine the ”holistic” view with more detailed ”sub architecture” views – at THIN2K we call this Seamless EA™
The EAS framework fully supports Seamless EA – I.e. the EA perspective can be ”drilled down” into each sub architecture, and each architecture element can be further drilled down into even lower abstractions levels. We at THIN2K strongly think that higher and lower abstraction levels need to be able to co-exist and be combined.
