The Technology architecture focuses in the infrastructure that hosts the software in the Application architecture. Here we find servers, network equipment, user devices, integration components, networks and network zones. In this layer we also find the security groups that control access to resources from our business roles. Security groups are often AD groups or similar, but can also describe physical access to buildings represented as business units in the EAS model.

Networks are divided into zones that in turn have infrastructure members connected to it. Security groups control the zones.
